Wow. just wow. Very impressed with this projector

Not sure what to really expect for under $1000 but due to budget constraints I wanted to give it a try. The projector looks great and is very small. The painting is huge and looks amazing on painted drywall. I'm currently filling a screen of about 180 inches at about 18 feet but scaled down to fit! With an old Blue Ray 1080p player the picture quality looks fantastic up close. What also really impressed me is the keystone function. I've never done this before and seeing how good and how easy it was, I placed the projector in a high corner of the room and mostly projected the image diagonally, a simple keystone menu placed the image perfectly within my target bounds and made it perfectly flat. It was SO easy. The audio from the onboard speakers isn't bad, but I use the optical out to the soundbar (also used ARC and worked fine) and the stereo headphone out. I use it in a completely dark room and it's amazing. The menu works well with the lights on, bright enough but needs to be dark to watch movies. It shows an input speed of 1080p@24Hz and sometimes 2K@30Hz from my Oppo 4K UHD DVD player, but despite that the picture is smooth and sharp. smooth, so didn't notice any lag or framerate issues. There doesn't seem to be any clues to this and I probably need them, but without it, I was up and watching movies in under 20 minutes of opening the box. with amazing picture and sound (using the outputs) projected at a rather awkward angle. It amazes me how this thing can make a picture look so good and match the crazy angle I put it at. Again, I've never used keystone correction, but it's awesome. Had I known this earlier, I would have used them in more rooms instead of 4K TVs. I went downstairs and watched TV on my 75 inch Sony 4K XBR after watching the projector and my "giant" TV in the living room as if I was looking at a laptop screen. The projector is also small and easy to move. He looks very tall. - the end, and way better than a $4,000 plastic projector with a huge lens. Another really cool thing is that the lens cover opens and closes automatically when the device is turned on or off. will be using them in more rooms instead of 4K TVs.
