Bought one upon receipt, was impressed with the finish and smooth operation, immediately ordered a second for my 2 door caravan. When the second arrived he noticed that the keys on both locks were the same. Key blanks are not standardized. GOOD BAD! ONE KEY FITS ALL. They are ALL coming anyway, but how many people will have this model/brand blocked. Also, for a non-standard blank, you will receive 4 keys for the lock. So losing a key is not a problem. Started installing, the first door worked fine until I tried to close the door, the new strike plate was stronger than the factory one. Good thing Bad thing. The plate needs to be reshaped to create more clearance (ball head hammer on vise). Note: The second door was not a problem. In general, the product is of higher quality than OEM. Both OEM lock sizes measured with a micrometer, there were clear differences. The two new locks were identical in all dimensions to within ±0.002 inches. The problem was changing the door frame. The extra keys are a real plus, the lock body and hasp may need to be adjusted to allow the door/lock to fit and close properly. I attribute this to the RV manufacturer's carelessness on the production line and poor quality control. Just ship it to the customer at minimal cost to the manufacturer. I put 5 stars. I'll report back in a year if there are any problems.
