Review on Black ๐Ÿ“ท Panasonic Lumix DC-LX100M2 Camera by Ada Suprynowicz แ Œ

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product, not disappointed.

The choice was between the Sony RX 100 VI and the Ricoh GR3. about the same price. The first option, despite the fact that in general the unit is powerful, set aside, because of the viewfinder, it is very small. Plus, I never believed that good optics could be with an increase of more than 3-5 times. Physics. Well, itโ€™s blind, compared to Panasonic because of the inch matrix, although the overall form factor is even smaller, and this can be good . The Ricoh Gr3 is a cool camera for street photography, no doubt. The matrix is โ€‹โ€‹larger (APS_c), dust and moisture protection, it seems like it is, cool optics, stabilization. But only 28 mm, wide angle, and that's it. This is about the same angle as in all iPhones. That is, if you have a good phone . No, of course, none can compare in quality, but in the role of a notebook, when you canโ€™t approach or move away (Panasonic has a wide angle even wider than 24 mm, by the way) you are very limited. Yes, electronically , in Ricoh you can make 35, 50 mm but it decently cuts the quality. Also, the Ricoh GR3 does not have a built-in viewfinder. You can buy separately, but it will not look compact with it. And the benefit of the viewfinder is unambiguous. Panasonic wins against this background with a combination of a large matrix, excellent zoom optics, with a wide angle for the landscape and sufficient zoom for other situations, an excellent built-in viewfinder, well, and design . This is all the same, done together with Leica, believe me, the differences here are only in icon. Can they film any genre? I donโ€™t know for sure, but itโ€™s very likely that a lot can be removed.

Pros
  • a small companion, a notebook that can be the beginning of a new chapter. Metal body, minimum gaps, good speed and autofocus, image quality, especially in RAW, for such parameters. Large matrix, really good optics, exceeding the resolution of the matrix. The most popular distances. Colors. Good 4K video with the ability to adjust autofocus. A good electronic viewfinder, it is more convenient through it, more precisely. Well implemented remote control function (Wi-fi, Blue tooth), really cool. Lots of user settings, extended manual over 300 pages.
Cons
  • The form factor is a bit small for a good straight, maybe. to come up with a handle, even with a battery pack). Volatile, a couple of batteries will come in handy for a busy day of photos and videos, but during breaks you can power it from Usb. The lens moves out enough, even at the minimum focal length, but here the zoom optics. There is no moisture protection, and itโ€™s really not good if you take it everywhere and everywhere. I, sorry, have a small nose and this is how you start focusing through the viewfinder, sometimes you touch the touch screen and knock down the focus (zoom zone). Touch, in my opinion, you can remove the camera, there are a lot of buttons. A non-rotating monitor. it's not very good, sometimes you need it.
