It took a little twisting on the first pull for one of the prongs on the orange to catch the clog, but then it held tight. Subsequent attempts pulled more and more hair out of the sewers. As a result, I got a tight ball of yarn the size of my fist. Less than 10 minutes (including opening the package) and my previously flooded bathtub drains quickly. Some of the teeth became crooked and bent, but none broke and I fully expected to lose a few. This is somewhat sturdy plastic and I will take it again for the future. I have only used one of the orange ones and will use it for future clogs. worth your money.
