Bought in September 2018 and used daily to date February 2019. Thought the glass was tempered for heat so it could more easily withstand an accidental touch on the counter and it didn't. When you're ready to make a new pot, you'll need to remove the plunger and then remove the coffee grounds. To do this, you either have to grab a paper towel and scoop them out, or be lazy like I was today and try to throw them in the trash and then wash off the rest. After trying it, I accidentally hit the counter over the trash can and it broke and cut my thumb. Don't get me wrong, I really love my abs, but I won't and won't buy another one with a glass jar. It is recommended to do this if you are accident prone.
