Review on 🔧 LEZYNE High Pressure Road Drive Bike Tire Pump, 160psi, Presta & Schrader Valve, Compact with ABS Flex Hose by David Bott

I would give zero stars if I knew how. I bought it in 2017 and had to use it probably 20 times at the side of the road to fix flat tires (I drive where there is a lot of glass, metal splinters and roadside spikes). In many cases (about half the time) when you unscrew it from the Presto valve (I use Continental Race 28 tubing, which is a two-piece valve) the valve core will come loose, resulting in a complete loss of air . This is bad design. Lezyne is aware of this as they now offer a valve stem tool that allows you to screw the valve stem back in if their POC pump screws it in, but they haven't bothered to change the design of their product. Several professional product reviewers have made the same comment but continue to praise it. I carry CO2 cartridges with me, but use the pump to find a puncture, partially inflate a new tube, or when I run out of CO2 cartridges (this has happened on bad days). When my mood isn't the happiest or most indulgent, the fact that the POC pump gives more trouble really freezes me. Today it happened for the last time. It went into the trash can. No more Lezyne products for me!
