Well the 2 smaller ones work great - pierce various craft materials without hesitation leaving very smooth edges with jagged or uneven areas. Unfortunately, I absolutely needed the largest one, which is defective in my kit. You can see from the side and below that the curved blade goes down, but something inside the handle mechanism prevents it from going deep enough to cut anything; It easily perforates where the blades actually drop far enough to touch the paper, but doesn't make a hole or cut a circle. It's very strong and I can't take it apart to see if it can be fixed and pushing it with all my weight didn't do anything so yeah it's freaking strong. It just doesn't work.
