Looks nice. does the job. Should be a little cheaper.

Having read other reviews and now myself I can confirm that some of the screw holes were misaligned. Each leg has 6 holes - 2 pairs of screw holes and one pair of screw holes. My workaround was to loosely attach the legs to the shelves by inserting a screw in the very center hole of the pair of screw holes (that's one screw per leg per shelf). The assembly will wobble and this is normal. I then added the leg assembly to the seat, loosely tightened all 8 screws, and then stood the whole thing upright on a hard, flat floor before tightening everything up. At this point it should be fairly firm. I added the last 4 screws to the staggered holes last. The wood is very soft so the only problem you might have is over-tightening and stripping the wood, which is very easy to do. The finished piece looks beautiful. Smells of wood and is very light. I was able to fit 3 pairs of shoes on each shelf, but people with big feet or bulky shoes don't have that option. This works for me. Definitely great for kids or as part of a decorative accent. It seemed fine to sit on, but I'm not sure how they put it in the 300-pound strength range unless it's in the medium, stationary weight range. I wouldn't recommend a 300 pound man to sit on this thing. I'm happy with it, but in terms of quality, it's definitely something that really should be in the $30 range.
