The surface of the stamp repels nail polish!
I bought these because I liked the idea of having clear nail stamps so you can see where the design is going. HOWEVER, the surface of these stamps is too rubbery due to the nail polish building up on the stamp and peeling off. So if you draw directly on the stamp (e.g. for tips or marble chips) the drawing will flow out of it like water being poured onto a raincoat. If you try to capture a nail polish design from a stamp plate, you will not succeed - it will not transfer at all. Period. They look cute but don't work like stamps at all. Save yourself the frustration and skip it!
