Review on Drybar Morning After Shower Cap by Adam Bonde

Terrycloth lining is a design flaw. get wet!

I had high hopes for this shower cap. I love the Drybar brand and I love the products I've used before. This shower cap is cute and all, but the design is awful. While the terry cloth lining is comfortable to slip on, there is no "seal" around the head and the terry cloth is exposed to and fully absorbs water during the shower. This got all the hair on the back of her head wet. Then I have to turn it inside out and squeeze all the water out of the terry cloth lining. I usually dry it inside out and no matter what, it smells like mold afterwards. So I have to throw it in the washing machine almost every time I use it to make sure it doesn't smell. Then drying takes a long time, so if you don't want to wash your hair for 2 days in a row, you should have a spare hood with you. I usually just take one of the free ones I get from hotels. Save your money and use cheap disposables. Or, if you really need a durable zero-waste shower cap, spend a little more and get a shower cap. I had it for almost 2 years before finally stretching it too far. I will definitely be buying another one to replace this one.
