I was concerned they didn't look the way they used to, but I liked that there was 60ft of light on one port so yes why not. I took a picture and they look fine. Especially at night. I wrapped them around the deck railing and they covered a pretty decent length of it. I wrapped a loop around almost every splint so you can easily go further by only doing every other splint. (Next year, of course.) I love a light show that slowly cycles between bright lights, dim lights, and a quick turn off, then back on, and repeats. I especially like that I don't have to be told anything. He just does it. No remotes, no programming, no hassles. Just plug in and out. , and probably in the plug too, but since our sockets are outdoors, with a box around it, it would be nice if the plug could fit in the box so you can close it. quite large and far exceeds the capacity of the release box so now both are exposed to the elements. I solved this problem by wrapping a large transparent bag around the entire release box and sealing it with tape. Now nothing's coming in until I take it down. Because of this, I can't just turn it off every day, so it would be nice if it turned on and off on future models with a light sensor. Just thought, or make a much smaller plug. And so I have 24/7, only a few weeks left, so don't shoot me :)
