These LED lights are just as bright as my regular light bulbs. I swapped 2 out of 4 and couldn't tell any difference. Whoever enters the room will never know that these are LD and not LED lamps. However, I have found (after looking very closely and carefully) that LED bulbs focus a little more on light output, meaning they are more powerful when you look directly at the bulbs. The beam or spread is no different from non-LED bulbs. Very satisfied. Remarkable - I replaced the lighting in the bedroom and found that these LED bulbs hardly dim at all. While LED bulbs can dim by 30-40%, my non-LED bulbs dim closer to 80-85%. So if you're planning on replacing incandescent bulbs where you need a more dimmable range, you might want to consider switching to non-LED. I liked the lamps so much that I ordered another set to replace more. Will buy again to finish the house.
