Review on Upgrade Your HVAC System with Four πŸŒ€ Seasons/Trumark 75749 Blower Motor with Wheel in Grey by Jim Booth

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The screw holes didn't match.

This spare part, which fits many models of different years, is difficult to fit. We have a 2002 Lesabre Limited. The fan housing in the car was not removed after loosening 5 screws. But the fan falls out immediately by simply unscrewing 3 screws. It would be an easy swap, but the bolt holes on the replacement fan flange are on the opposite side of the post holes than our Lesabre. I had to drill holes (not easy) in the flange on the RIGHT side of the two pillar holes closest to the dash (facing the engine, not the fan) and the hole furthest from the dash for this bolt with a washer use to tighten it. Luckily they lined up. Couldn't use the replacement rubber pad because the holes are wrong and it's too thick. I couldn't find a matching gasket so I installed it without one. Lucky again, no leaks, the fan works fine. We're not the original owners of the car, but it still doesn't make sense that the holes are that big. It seems like an easy design solution is to add extra screw holes to cover all installation scenarios. If the Glory is also to be exchanged, it is a loss if the fan easily falls out after removing 3 screws. Take a close look at your existing installation.
