I really like the first generation of this product. After 4 years of repeated falls at meetings, the buttons started failing, so I bought this model. In general I like the product, but there are a few comments. 1) Previously, the 1st generation version came with a soft case. I'm not sure why they couldn't include this back in for the premium you pay for this mouse. 2) I haven't had enough time to test durability, but the build quality seems to be significantly cheaper in this version compared to the 1st generation3) For those using this device with a laptop and on the go, the on-off Switch on this version versus the 1 AA battery, I really don't care about the "weight" of this mouse when I'm pushing it across the table. I'm sure it just takes getting used to, but personally I feel like it's not balanced.
