Great desk for working from home. or bed. I didn't have to build anything here. Everything was nicely packaged and laid out. I've been using it for over a month so I can probably comment with confidence. It's not too thick or too thin, but not bulky either. It only tilts the top table by the specified gears/angles. The height adjustment is a bit tricky as you have to do it from both sides at once, otherwise the weight or pressure on one side will prevent you from getting it right. Pro tip: turn the table over and then do it, it's a lot easier. It's sturdy enough for laptops, books and plates (laughs). Just don't stand or jump on it. Fit and finish are also excellent. The iPad/tablet cutouts may be a little narrow or too deep that the tablet appears to pop out when tilted, and the length of the cutout may be wider. Fast shipping from Revain. Can't beat it
