Doesn't work, very dangerous tool

Doesn't detect the power side of an outlet, but does detect the neutral side. The photos show 118 volts in the outlet, but the contactless tip can't see it. It only detects power when it touches the cord that goes into the outlet. Without the probe wires I could have been electrocuted. Apart from that everything is alright.
