Review on Improved Front Control Arm for Acura - Energy Suspension 16.3116R by Jared Bradford

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Better but not perfect.

They are much more durable than the original bushings originally installed in the car. They're not that difficult to install, they're a little frustrating as they still have to be pressed lightly into the control arm, not as difficult as pressing in a one-piece bushing, but they're fairly stiff and won't go easily without much power in. Overall the worst part of the whole process was removing the bearing bushings as they are pressed in and like all other bushings makes life difficult if you are not sure what you are getting into and don't do it. t Prepare the necessary tools in advance. If you are inexperienced with this type of work, you can leave your control arms at the machine shop to press out the old ones and install the new ones. The money spent there will most likely be worth it to save the frustration of installing them if you haven't done so in the past, but it's pretty easy once you know how to get out of the trickier spots if you have the tools don't fit perfectly etc.
