The digital thermometer is always the most accurate of all thermometer types and this thermometer has been type tested. I simply calibrated this thermometer with ice water and boiling water, and it measured both temperatures accurately within 1 degree Fahrenheit. so I can hang it on the fridge where it's easily accessible. The length is good, hands do not burn when using. It seems to be much more durable than the cheap thermometers I've bought in the past.
