Shoes run small, I wear women's size 48 but I bought these shoes in a size 11 and they are very comfortable and snug! My feet also hurt the first day I wore shoes, I only worked on my feet for 4 hours and then the pain started, I had to sit down immediately. I will wear them again, hopefully they just need to be broken in, but as for the grounding of the shoes I don't think so!
