After my bad experiences with the Rumba robot, I was initially very skeptical about any robot. Ever since my son bought the Roborock 6 in January, I've been following his experience closely. I must say right away that he is an IT specialist and it is very difficult to impress him with any electronic toy. BUT he was very satisfied and even after almost 6 months his satisfaction has not changed and was very high. So I decided to jump. The delivery was quick and correct. The packaging and contents were in perfect condition. I charged the device and found that the cable came off very easily so I had to keep track of whether it was charging or not. I emailed the support team and received a reply within minutes with an explanation and further instructions. In itself, that fact was surprisingly pleasant and reassuring. The next hurdle was connecting my robot to a wireless network and a phone. I have a Pixel 3 phone and wasn't expecting any issues, but I was wrong. It took 3 days between installing apps, checking my network and not being able to connect everything together. The robot had no trouble finding and connecting, but my phone refused to find the device. In the end I installed the Mi Home App instead of the Roborock App and all problems were solved. I got an A from my robot and gave it permission to start cleaning. This is a very smart device. Just watching was really cool. It spun in all directions and moved in bizarre ways, and in the end I learned the map of my house. It never collided with anything but gently touched it and moved in a different direction. On my phone screen I could see the progress and read the instructions at the same time. The instructions were printed in faded ink and were difficult for my eyes to read. Today, after living with this amazing creature for a week, I not only tested it for mopping, but also for mopping. Absolutely amazing results. I have tile/laminate flooring throughout the house and it feels clean. At the end I get a process completion report and see a card that confirms this. This is a very intelligent and complex thing and I need to learn other tricks that this robot has to offer. I can name each room and tell the robot where to go and what to clean. How cool is that? I can disable area cleaning, but I need to learn how to tell the machine. I think after a while I will continue this review but for now I can recommend it to any of my friends. In fact, I did it today while we were at the beach. I showed the map and the moving robot while we enjoyed the sun. :)
