Review on 🔥 Berkling BSG 568 Cordless Butane Soldering: Unleash Your Portable Soldering Power by Chris Drury

Bought as a hair dryer/torch as I already have a soldering station. But I had it and I decided to give it a try. Big mistake. The problem is that this thing generates a lot of heat which heats up the tip and also blows around it. It will burn fingers and other things if it gets too close to the air vents (about 3 inches). I used the lowest heat setting. An electric iron doesn't have this problem and you only have to worry about not touching things. This one heats up pretty quickly though, so that's a plus. As a burner/heat gun it seems to do the job well. I'm not sure - this is my first such tool so I have nothing to compare. It looks like a refillable lighter in a different shape. For me enough for the price.
