I didn't want to use it for a duvet, just to keep my flat sheet flush with my duvet which, after tossing and turning every night in my sleep, always became one Stack folded up was our feet. A word of caution, for them to work I had to place them at the very end of the quilt. Mostly in the corner where there is practically no filling. This allowed the magnets to be very close together and hold them indefinitely. Addendum: One fell off after a week of use. I found one of the halves on the floor and couldn't find the other half. However, I am so pleased with what you get with this product and the fact that it doesn't pierce my linens that I have ordered a second set as a replacement.
