Not strong enough

They just weren't strong enough for our duvet and bedspread. After only 2 nights of use we found a pair on the floor. As we have a dog that likes to chew on anything this would be bad for us. I went with a different method.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Some bugs

Looks good and works well... only for a few months.

Good idea...no needles or irons! You look good. Well done. Easy to use. When I first used them, the magnets seemed a little weak. I have medium thickness French linen duvet covers and duvets (summer and winter). The magnets just aren't strong enough to effectively handle that much material. Of course, after only a few months, they began to fall off regularly. Good idea, badly implemented. Spring.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Simple, but not with a dog

Well, they were very easy to use. I liked how they were different from many other similar products. They don't have the large plastic piece covering the needle, which hurt when I kicked that piece. However, I was very upset when I noticed in the morning that at least one set was out of bed and on the floor. I couldn't figure out why until I saw the dog take one off and play with it. Although they are nice and simple, they are not suitable for dogs. I threw them away fearing the puppy would eat…

Is working . but. for bedding

It works but only because my duvet has straps and I wrap the bedspread around it and then use the magnets. 3 out of 4 magnets have not been used on this one for 2.5 weeks. If you're just trying to wear it strapless, I don't see it working longer than overnight. Be very careful because the corners of your blanket will turn into guns if you end up twisting the blanket around these things. They turn into some kind of soap in some kind of sock and you can really hurt yourself or your spouse. I hit…

good for other uses

I finally didn't need for my comforter/quilt and my faux fur comforter was too thick to attach to the duvet cover. However, we have a shower/tub that nothing can stick to and we don't like tape that gets awkward easily, so they've proven to be a great tool to keep my indoor shower curtain from trying to grab me! We placed all four about 12 inches from the bottom of the curtain and separated them about 12 inches across the curtains and they look pretty good on the outside and work really well. I

Very strong magnets

I use them with a flannel blanket and a winter blanket and have had no trouble connecting the magnets. Caution: If the disc is removed and the magnets are not connected, they will be difficult to separate. It's not impossible, but it took more time and effort than I expected. It was so easy to secure the comforter inside the comforter - no twisting around trying to keep the corners in place when the comforter was pulled over the comforter. Definitely a first for me. I will be buying more as…

Works great, magnetic closure is very strong

After a while my duvet slipped inside the duvet cover and got tangled on the sides making it a bit sloppy. I bought a Dotz to hopefully put an end to the gang. These things are strong! I was able to place one on the back of the duvet and bedspread and connect the other on the front. I was surprised to see that it worked really well with so many layers and they didn't pop out either. Since I already have zip ties in each of the four corners, I attached a dotz to the center edge of each side.…

Bold consumer efforts fail due to insufficient magnetic force

Believe it or not, I bought three packs of these. Each time I figured adding a few more would help keep my satin sheets in place. I was completely wrong. Not only do they not hold everything together, they are extremely difficult to place correctly, they are constantly moving, they break and come loose regularly, and they tend to get lost somewhere in the bedroom. God only knows where. The attached photo shows what you will get over time. With many pluses and minuses. I have never spent so much

The best alternative if you don't want to pierce your bedding.

I didn't want to use it for a duvet, just to keep my flat sheet flush with my duvet which, after tossing and turning every night in my sleep, always became one Stack folded up was our feet. I was skeptical that they would work based on the reviews here, but the alternative was to use the ones that pierced my ceiling and I definitely wasn't planning on doing that. So I took a chance and placed my order. Well, what do you know. They worked. It's been more than a week and the quilt and sheet are…
