I use this with Q-See cameras. My Q-See DVR was giving me problems, rebooting with a loud beep every few minutes. This new one doesn't, although it resets about once a day. I'm still trying to figure out why, but I believe it's because one of my cameras loses signal daily and the DVRs reset after a period of time. Resetting the Q See DVR was annoying and LOUD. At least this DVR doesn't beep as loud as the Q See DVR. I hope that the dashcam will work properly once I fix the reason for the camera signal loss. Although everything else works. I've only had it for two weeks so I keep an eye on it all the time. The app was hit and miss. In most cases, cameras load quickly and smoothly. But sometimes it takes a long time to load or doesn't load at all, and I had to restart the dash cam once for the app to accept the cameras again. Either way, this is basically what I would expect from a security camera dash cam. All brands seem to have the same doubts so far. It gave me less of a headache than my Q See DVR, but then again, I only had it for two weeks.
