Review on Effortlessly Lift Your Riding Mower With MoJack EZ Max - 450Lb Capacity, Folds Flat For Easy Storage, Perfect For Maintenance Or Repair by Brittany Howard

Holes on support leg are not aligned.

I am trying to attach the support leg. That's the part that extends out under the law mower. The holes where the two bolts go are not in the right place. You put one bolt in (preferably the one toward the wheels) and if you have the same problem I have you will not be able to put the other bolt in. The hole is completely off from where it should be. I am sledge hammering a punch through the tiny edge of the hole that's visible trying to make the hole larger so the second bolt will go in. It's taking time, but I think it will work. Hopefully the rest will go easily. It seems China is not able to make good lifts. Every one that I checked has serious problems. This one had the best reviews even though some people are finding problems. I will give this lift a lot of work early on to see if it will hold up. If not, back it goes.Edit: Well, the punch had little effect. The metal is really hard. I had to buy a drill bit for metal to make the hole. The rest of the lift went together without any problem.

Pros
  • Long time to get it up but pretty sturdy so far. I use it for our 46 riding mower and our 60 in ztr.
Cons
  • The legs of the MoJack EZ Max can easily damage sensitive surfaces like a lawn or patio
