Review on Bevgo Fruit Infuser Water Bottle – 32oz - Hydration Tracker with Timeline – Removable Ice Gel Ball and Flip Top Lid by Matthew Allen

I wasn't looking for or expecting that. The idea of fruit infused water is really appealing, especially for those like me who need water but hate plain water. First, it is absolutely essential that the fruit and water mix for at least 12 hours to reap the full benefits of fruit-infused water. in advance. Otherwise the taste just won't be. Second, while the recipe book fits in with good recipes and suggestions, it doesn't match the included brewing device in any way. For example, a recipe for an apple with cinnamon and ginger calls for 2 medium apples, thinly sliced, 3-5 cinnamon sticks, and 6 thin slices of peeled fresh ginger. This is absolutely NOT included in the infuser that comes with the bottle. I don't see any of the prescription sizes suitable for an infuser. So what to do? Third, the gel pack that can be added to the infuser does a good job of keeping the water cold. However, if you add an infusion of any fruit and then a bag of frozen gel, there isn't much room for water, which is really the purpose of it all, a large container to hold flavored drinking. Fourth, as some might have thought, mix the water/fruit well in a separate container and then pour into this bottle. It would have been possible with an insulating cover, but even with permission from Bevgo, this container should not be placed in direct sunlight. Not to mention really hot days, at the beach etc, who wants to run back and forth to refill that tank when you might have a big offended porter. Yes, you can have an ice chest, but then again, if you're looking for a minimum of things to carry, I don't think this is the best option. I've included a picture of a 64-ounce container labeled "two large oranges" next to the 32-ounce Bevgo bottle brewer, which was cut using one of the recipes found in the book to reduce the amount of fruit compared to the brewer show moment the jury is very far away.
