I use these vests for photography and carry accessories like lens cleaners, filters, spare batteries, memory cards etc. and even some of my own smaller lenses as I don't use a backpack when I'm shooting. I've had a lot of them and some of them are very high quality like Orvis but they are heavy. Others that you see all over Revain are nice and light, but very flimsy - zips and pockets tear. This seems to be a good middle ground. Less weight but still feels sturdy. I took it to Antarctica, so I bought two sizes larger than usual to fit a bulky polar parka. I'll see how it holds up.
