Does not work out of the box. Installation was easy on the 2017 Corvette with 7-speed manual transmission. Driven around the block a few times and the shift jump function seems to be hitting, but after about 40 miles the check engine light came on. On a Corvette, as long as the wiring harness is disconnected from the skip shift solenoid, skip shifting is disabled but the check engine light is left on unless the wiring harness experiences a certain amount of electrical resistance. Removed the wire harness, connected to the multimeter, shows zero resistance. So yes it removes the wiring harness from the solenoid so a 2nd and 3rd bypass cannot take place but does trip the check engine light. returned for a refund.
