Buying socks online is always such a mess. I rarely get the ones that are right. That's why I was so happy with these socks. It worked this time. They are of good thickness, better suited for a light summer or mid-season, but not so thin that they wear out or fail to provide protection and insulation. Most importantly, and where most socks fail for some reason, they fit snugly around the calves and don't fall off too much. Maybe they could do a little better in that regard, but that's what annoys me the most and they're actually very good in that category, especially when compared to so many socks that totally fail in that regard. I love these socks when I'm biking to work on spring mornings when I need some extra warmth.
