Review on πŸ’§ iSpring RCC1UPN Reverse Osmosis System by Brett Lowe

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great filter. The water is great. 440ppm on, 14-16ppm off.

I have had this filter installed since mid-April 2017 and I still love it. Water quality: Better than stated. For me, good water has no taste and that is exactly what this filter offers. My incoming city water is around 440ppm and three months later I am still getting 14-16ppm from this system. I run this water through my coffee maker every day and have absolutely no buildup. I haven't checked the flow rate, but it's about what I expected. I usually fill 64 ounces at a time and I think it takes over a minute. I also have the unit installed in the basement so I have a much longer hose going from the filter tank to the faucet. Quality: I haven't had any quality issues so far. The overall experience is better than I expected. The cases of the first three filters are strong and thick, so I'm sure they will last a long time. All of the controls feel good despite being plastic, but given the pressure the unit operates at, I don't see that as a problem. The switch that controls the UV filter is present. As soon as you open the faucet, the UV lamp lights up, and when you close the faucet, the light goes out again. Because of this, the water that comes out is not warm. The pump runs very quietly and turns on and off as needed. Installation: My installation experience can't be of much use as I installed my unit on a stand in the basement, so it was a bit more difficult. I don't think it would be too difficult to install under the sink using the usual method. Most of the unit is already assembled at the time of arrival, so you don't have to worry. I would say that a person needs to be moderately accommodating to get the job done. If you go with a sink, plan on losing about half the space under the sink.
