This is without a doubt the worst toaster I have ever owned. It's certainly cute and the slots are wide enough for bagels, but that's where the positives end. Only half of each side gets toasted, so I have to flip my produce and put it through another cycle. Each time the same setting is used, the toast may brown or burn a little - a surprise every time! It doesn't always appear fully when the loop completes. If you toast wide items like bagels, I would buy a wider toaster. Although the slots themselves are quite wide, the heating elements are so close to the product that the bagel pieces often touch the elements and cause smoke.
