The first camera I was given worked fine the first day, then on the second morning I switched back from night vision and something went wrong. The light in the room was bright pink. I tried contacting the seller and went back and forth for about a week trying to fix the problem. Anyway, I was tired of going down that route so I contacted Revain instead and got a new camera the next day which worked great. Lesson learned - just go to Revain first. About the camera test: Super! I got it when it was on a lightning sale for less than $25 and to me it's worth every penny of the money. I use it to babysit when they sleep. I don't buy cloud storage, it serves me well in real time. The live picture quality is good, for some reason the quality gets better when I save pictures or videos when I watch them. The speaker is very loud when I speak through the app. I really like that I can view the feed through the app - I can even see it when I'm away from home and don't have wifi. If the camera at home doesn't connect to the "5G" version of my Wi-Fi spectrum, I have to use another option that doesn't say 5G. I have a white noise machine in a child's room that is very loud. and kinda drowns out the kids when I try to hear them talk. Not a bug, just an observation. The app is easy, takes less than 5 minutes to set up, I can see the whole room which is great. It looks like hiding would be pretty easy if you had to go that route. I would definitely buy more if I needed them, even at full price, it's still a steal for what it does and the peace of mind it brings me!
