Review on 🥦 Qimh Collapsible Colander: Over-the-Sink Vegetable/Fruit Strainer with Extendable Handles, 6 Quart Folding Kitchen Strainer by Vera Lewis

I decided to try the plastic after about five years of using a stainless steel screen that started to rust on the top edges. The plastic strainer is suitable for washing fruit and straining pasta. However, it is not suitable for defrosting fish or vegetables as there is not enough ventilation to allow them to drain and dry. We eat a lot of shrimp, my frozen shrimp were mushy and I had to towel dry them. Please note that this filter only has holes at the bottom. Not quite like the stainless steel versions. It may not be a problem for others, but it doesn't work for me. Inexpensive. I will donate to charity and replace it with a new stainless steel version.
