I was looking for a good fingerprint scanner that works with Windows Hello and FIDO U2F for sites that support it. The published false positive and false negative rates for this reader are comparable or better than TouchID on iOS devices, which is encouraging. I already have a YubiKey, so I need a second spare key. AUTHENTREND ATKey.Pro is just the ticket. It works great with Windows Hello as well as websites that support U2F like Google, Facebook, Dropbox, etc. And since it supports U2F, I can confirm that it works on the above websites as well as PC and Mac . I installed it under my desk next to my mouse and keyboard for easy access. It also comes with a soft silicone case with a key loop if you want to carry it around. Make sure you install the ATKey app from their website so you can update the firmware if needed, and set up your Windows Hello accessory to use it to unlock Windows. It's not the cheapest security key, but it's not worth skimping on. when it comes to protecting your data. Overall I'm very happy with this device and would recommend it to anyone looking for an all-in-one security key and fingerprint reader.
