Review on ๐Ÿค– Coredy Self-Charging Robot Vacuum for Medium-Pile Carpets by Anthony Jagers

I got what I paid for!

Well the first 8 or 9 days I was happy with the baby. For an inexpensive little Rover, it's turned out pretty well. However, around the third week he started having problems. I started noticing that there are still things on the floor, I have a dark parquet floor and it really shows, especially in the sun. I put the little vacuum cleaner back to cleaning and it collected here and there but never reached all parts of the house. I have a ranch on the same level with no carpets or rugs. As if that wasn't enough, I'd come home from work only to find that the little rover hadn't returned to its home base, which is in a clean, unobstructed area that's easily accessible by car. So I search my house almost every day for a car. Cordey, as we started calling him, will just quit working and stay anywhere! Sometimes under a dresser, on the kitchen floor, or in his favorite spot under my granddaughter's bed. This forced me, a 60-year-old woman, to get on my hands and knees with a broom and try to pull her out from under the bed. It's harder than it sounds because when it dies it can't roll freely, you literally have to drag and tug under the bed to get it out. I am at the point where I need to order parts for the device. Because two small stylus brushes don't last long, they are made of plastic like straws, not brush material, and bend easily and stick/stick together, making them useless as a cleaning tool in this form. The outside of the device is smooth and you can wipe it down with a damp cloth, but when it comes to cleaning the main brush, even if you can remove it from the machine, it's very difficult. The main roller brush really needs cleaning, the tool they provide is not what I would recommend, I usually have to go with scissors or a utility knife. And as for the dust and dirt that gets on the brush tips themselves, cleaning this plastic brush head is next to impossible. Everything it touches almost sticks to the brush head. I've spent hours tediously cleaning this thing because I know it's an important part of the car cleaning process. To say I'm disappointed in a little vacuum at least means like I said before I got what I paid for. This was my first robot vacuum and it had good reviews so I took a bite! Hook, line and sinker! But if I had to do it again, knowing what I know about this car now; I would just save money and buy one of the better known brands. This household item is definitely not worth the time and money you have to spend on it. Save money for something else. BDV 081719
