These GM mounts are the best quality available for Astro/Safari vans. They are made in China but have the same strong steel core as the original brackets that came with these vans. This is a valid replacement for 2WD models only. Check out the photo of the original bracket that was removed from my 1996 Safari Van after nearly 27 years and 420,000 miles. The engine no longer "vibrates" on worn mounts and now has smooth idle and acceleration. Do not use lower quality mounts, as this is not a very interesting task and you do not want to do it more than once. Believe me. The left and right brackets are the same, but installing the passenger side bracket is more complex and requires some ratchet extensions and a universal joint bushing extension to complete the job. Also consider replacing the transmission mount. This is a much easier task and will likely wear out as well.
