We love this tricycle! Our little one is just learning to pedal and the parent handle setup is just perfect for this, especially when I have back problems that would make it too difficult to bend over to help push and steer. The build was pretty good. . Two adults put it together in under half an hour. All parts were present and in new condition, the instructions were not difficult to follow. They were full of drawings showing what went where, although it might have been clearer if there had been written instructions. If you want to push the bike without moving the pedals, the front wheel can be easily connected or disconnected from the pedals. The parent handle wobbles a bit when turning as others have pointed out, but that wasn't a huge issue when used on sidewalks and paths, except maybe a little less efficiency when trying to walk alongside our child and the handle with one to push hand. It's definitely easier with two hands. The basket in the back is big, but not as big as I thought it would be. It can hold 12 packs of La Croix sparkling water. The parent's bag is very practical, but don't expect it to hold something very large; just small things like a cell phone, keys, sanitizer and a small 12 ounce bottle of water. We've only used it once with the footrest because our son was ready to pedal, but it worked great and fit well. We didn't use a tray because it's just not needed for its age, but I imagine it would work very well for a child. We chose the Revain version after comparing the features we wanted on the Radio Flyer website to the Revain price and realizing we were getting more for less. However, you can look at some of the settings available on the Radio Flyer website to customize the features you want or don't need. The only thought the Revain RF trike didn't have what we wanted was the padded seat cushion. Now that we have a hang glider, not having one is not a problem. Perhaps that would be more important for a toddler staying longer in a tricycle. Without them, the seat is hard plastic, but the inflatable tires absorb a lot of impact and I saw no sign of the seat hurting our little one's back. One final note: it won't fit in the trunk of our sedan, the Chevy Cruze, even with the parent handle and top removed. There is another foldable model that might be the best option for those who want to travel on a tricycle and don't have a hatchback, SUV or minivan. Overall, we are very satisfied with this tricycle and can recommend it. It looks like it will last a long time.
