Review on Renewed Samsung Galaxy Note 9 in AT&T Cloud Silver, 128GB Storage by Makoto Ikeda ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

No complaints, I recommend to buy.

If my last galaxy laptop-5 was shamelessly slow out of the box due to the pre-installed facebook, then everything here was on top After linking the phone to your phone account, all contacts and even some of the settings were dutifully transferred to the new device and the process of switching to a new phone was easy and painless. However, I got into the pre-installed applications and meticulously sawed out everything that I didn’t need. Of course, I decided to put a fingerprint password. It turned out that this procedure does not so much increase security as it serves as a cheap show-off for those who are too lazy to type a password. The phone accepts 4 fingerprints in total. It immediately turned out that the fingerprint scanner is not very conveniently located - the glass of the cameras was constantly slammed. However, a person is such a creature that gets used to everything, and after a couple of days I already quite tolerably got my finger on the scanner, practically without touching the glass of the cameras. After that, on the advice of Samsung, I signed up on their special website, where you can manage some phone security settings, determine its location, etc., etc. I tried several times to determine the location of my phone - I could not (moreover, the phone itself normally determined its location on the map of Hong Kong) . The Samsung site itself looks like a craft from a village schoolboy Well, quickly about the rest (the signs ran out) slow motion - more show-off than practical use message management - rustic design. The principle of least user surprise is not respected Well, here is what makes me bomb the most. Navigation bar settings. You can't make it black out of the box! Wretched Korean designers have come up with a set of colors to match the screen's color scheme palette, but they don't read books on eReaders. In night mode, the navigation bar hangs with a bright plume, irritating the eyes. Thank you for thinking of making it retractable. Now I'm infuriated by the need to make an extra movement to bring up the menu, which, IMHO, should always be on the screen

Pros
  • the phone is fast, has a hefty screen, fits comfortably in the hand (in my big hand) capacious battery
Cons
  • too thin uncomfortable buttons stupid location of the fingerprint sensor goofy navbar color set
