I bought these for my 6 year old to use in the snow. They fit him perfectly and I tightened my wrist as tightly as I could. We spent about 2 hours tubing in the snow. When we were done, he started complaining about cold hands. We took off our gloves and they were cold! I'm surprised he didn't say something sooner. His hands were wrinkled from being so wet and cold. These gloves are good if you don't want to play in the snow for a long time. He wears them when skating and they keep his hands warm.
