I have two very active dogs, a 3 year old Shepard mix and a 9 month old Pitbull. Our pit is notorious for chewing collars, especially the clasp, which is plastic. It can also gnaw through the collar itself. I bought this because they also like to run away from home when they can and want to make sure their collars don't come loose no matter what. They look so good in them and they are very comfortable in them. He doesn't even try to take off his clothes or Shepard's clothes! The blue ones are a bit more expensive but the quality of the collars are definitely worth the price! They are also very active, enjoy playing and running with other puppies in the neighborhood and also enjoy hiking with my wife. The collars did not come loose, but were weakened. Definitely great collars!
