These birds are a beautiful color and very bright! They also fly much better than other birds we have had. They appear to be made out of synthetic feathers covering wire, or something that is very easy to shape/smooth out quickly. We enjoy playing with them and they are just right for twilight and night badminton, although they fly so well that we use them in daylight too. You need to work 4 hours straight and have a switch inside to turn off the light. Just be careful not to look directly into the light (from the bottom big hole) at the bird when picking it up off the ground as it is very bright. We prefer to play with one of the fixed colors (I think we have blue, red and green) because the one that changes color is harder to see. It is so much fun! Thanks very much!
