I love that this set comes with several different colors and that three of the four only make one solid color. The light bulb in two birds began to flicker after an hour of use. It seemed that hitting the racquet was beginning to loosen the connections. They worked great. Until they did. Again, I liked the monochrome version of these birds. When playing badminton, the color-changing birds sometimes disappear temporarily as they change color as they fly through the air.

I noticed these badminton birds when I first ordered a badminton set as a gift. Thought it would be fun to play with the kids at night with the LED. To be honest we haven't tested them at night yet as our nights are still cold. But I can say that they hold up very well. The badminton set, sold separately, contained two birds that had a plastic "feather" part. Both fell apart after 30 minutes of play. Luckily I also bought a set of LEDs. These birds are a beautiful color and very bright! They also fly much better than other birds we have had. They appear to be made out of synthetic feathers covering wire, or something that is very easy to shape/smooth out quickly. We enjoy playing with them and they are just right for twilight and night badminton, although they fly so well that we use them in daylight too. You need to work 4 hours straight and have a switch inside to turn off the light. Just be careful not to look directly into
