Well, where do I start? In the end I received my item and everything was fine for about 20 minutes of use. However, after 20 minutes my screen freezes for 10-30 seconds. At first I messed it up, but then it happened after 10 minutes, after that it became a common problem. In the end I went to the exchange. (Worst idea I've ever had). I called Amazon and told them about my problem and they quickly gave me a replacement so I was happy at first until the Surface Pro 7 arrived the next day. I open the box and find that the box it came in , not only damaged, but in a refurbished crate, not even in the same crate it should be in, then I open it to see the skin and screen shot. It was very dirty like they dropped it in mud or something and there were fingerprints all over the car. So for now I just hope it works. This one was not charged 15% at all as is usually the case when you buy from Microsoft or from an Apple device as usual. So I plugged it into a charger and found that not only did it have a screen tear right down the middle of the screen, but it also had a big red dot half the size of the screen, like they dropped the Surface Pro. So at this point I immediately called Amazon and spoke to a representative who ended up getting me in trouble to get another replacement, although this was obviously a mistake. So I ended up speaking to the manager who ended up giving me problems as well and she finally told me that they only do the exchange once but as a one off exception they would do the exchange to which I replied that I only want to do an exchange, if it is a brand new product that you give me and is not refurbished and undamaged. To which she agreed that she would see to it that it was done and would enclose her notes for the clothing company to know. Well, the next day came and guess what. The person who drops it throws my package against the wall of my house from a great distance, he didn't see me at all, so when I rushed the man jumped in his car and drove away quickly, knowing what he had done . Not only that, but when I open the box the Surface Pro was back in a dirty updated box, at this point I'm just hoping it ran without power one more time so I'm plugging it in and guessing it's working after all that amazing. However, I did notice that something changed during the boot process, so I knew something was wrong. I went to the computer setup and bought the 8GB RAM version of the i5 model with 128GB storage which I got as a replacement this time. 4GB version of the i5 model with 128GB of storage and GUESS WHAT OTHER GRAPHICS CARD. The Surface Pro 7 I received not only had 4GB of RAM which was wrong, but also a different graphics card that comes with the Surface Pro 5, are you serious? So I called customer service again and asked for a manager again. I just want a refund the person told me what I see here is you already have a few exchanges for this unit so I told him this story that I'm telling now and asked him and wondered why me Got a couple of exchanges" to which he said ok instead of a refund I can get you a brand new one and told me he needed to make a couple of calls to get it done for me so I told him this was the last exchange to order which i will urge next refund as i wanted before, if the next one comes in refurbished packaging, that means it has been used, if it is broken or it is the wrong model, i am tired of it too try and I'm done with the Surface Pro 7. Not only was it the worst Amazon experience I've ever had and the worst customer service, but now I'm going to hate the Surface Pro 7 because of it. February 2020 see what i get next. Sorry for the long review but I felt my experience should be posted for others to see.
