Poor quality control and cheap plastic.
This item is inserted into the ordinary cavity. That's the good part. Unfortunately, the connector pins on this item were badly corroded, so they had to be disassembled for cleaning. In addition, the sockets were poorly finished, which caused the lamps to move while driving. I managed to bend the clamps so they hold better. In all, I spent almost two hours making this part usable. Regardless of the element itself, be careful when tightening the screws that attach the element to the frame. These specific Ford OEM nuts are prone to cross threads.
