She said to her husband "it's either me or the dogs!" when this rug actually saved our marriage. Not quite, but I was very upset about the dirt coming into the house from our farm. I have two, one for each front door in the house, and the amount of floor and furniture cleaning I have to do has been greatly reduced. I toss rugs in the washing machine about once a week after shaking them outside. It's amazing to me how much dirt and dust these things catch and hold! Dogs also love to lie on it as we have wooden floors so catching the fur is an added bonus!
