Review on Bulbrite Q50FR DC 120 Volt Halogen by Sara Rocha

Apparently the wrong bulb was put in the box. The markings are correct (120V/100W) but much shorter than the specs or the picture. When I called to ask if the specs had changed I couldn't get a straight answer! The support team took turns suggesting that the difference was "natural variation" or that I needed calipers to measure correctly. I offered to send them a photo of the old bulb (according to specs) and the bulb they sent me. I just wanted to know if they sent me a fancy bulb or if they changed the length. Apparently Bulbrite has two sets of specifications for the same lamp. In the end, after 4 calls (so support could consult with the techs again) and almost an hour on the phone, the unabashed manager told me to just return the bulb and order another one. I will, but not by Bulbright.
