When it rains our driveway directs all water to our garage door. We had to install a sump pump at the very bottom of the driveway in front of the garage door to divert the water to a drain at the bottom of the house. out of the garage to keep water out of the house. This switch was ordered, received within a day and once installed the problem with the pump was resolved. It mounts with 2 screws and fits perfectly. Color coded cables, make sure you don't connect them wrong. This switch seems to be a bit more sensitive to float actions than the original one. Which is good for our application. I'll probably buy another one to have on hand as a spare in case of another problem. A $20 piece could potentially save us thousands in flood repairs.
