There is a gap but still looks good, not too dark
It took about 15 minutes to swap out both sides on my Tahoe 04. I opted for the new brighter bulbs, although they don't too dim. There is a gap between the frame and the lantern's body, but the original had the same small gap. Stepping aside, it's not as noticeable and still looks better than the original headlights. It took a little while to log into the car to detect the right light (auto, manual or bright etc.).
