Disappointed because I bought it to charge my MacBook while plugging it in as a card adapter and importing photos. Unfortunately, plugging a MacBook charger into the dongle will not power the MacBook. The USB ports work fine but do not allow charging. UPDATE June 9, 2018 The seller contacted me and asked for a video showing the problem and offering to replace the product if defective. I tried the product again and it seems to be working. Certainly not the last time. So I'm adding three stars to my rating for the seller's responsiveness and the fact that the product currently runs off my laptop's power supply. I'll keep using it and see how it goes. I don't know why it didn't work before, but now it works perfectly. In any case, I'm happy to be able to load and sync SD cards at the same time.
