I needed this for something other than a bathroom plumbing so I honestly gave it 5 stars because my use was extreme. The adhesive on the back is fine and might work for an air conditioned bathroom like the one in the house, but I needed it to close a seam in my RV. I had to apply special tape (from Lowes called Home Easy in the carpet department) to the backing that's designed for indoor and outdoor carpets and once I did it held up great. It's very easy to work with and I'm really happy when I've added more glue to my setup. It got too cold or too hot for the supplied glue. Not the fault of the company or the product, I knew I was using it differently. I'm just writing this in case someone else is looking for another use for it.
